Just a quick post on Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.'s "Harrison Bergeron." I've read this short story online a couple of years ago but forgot to keep the link. Today, I came across the link once more (and how obvious, you can find it right under the late author's
Wikipedia entry). Also, don't ask why I'm up this early. This is what happens when you drink Cookies&Cream Oreo coffee grande at seven the evening before (insomnia and pink elephants like woah!). So where was I? Ah, yes, Harrison Bergeron. This is an essential read for students of political law. It talks about the evils of too much equality. After you've read it, it makes you appreciate more the beauty of our own equal protection laws.
That said, I'm off. And no, this blog is still on hiatus.
